This fantastic animal was carved on the hilt of an ancient sword found in Suontake, Finland. It recalls the golden age of the northmen's culture, and their powerful and mysterious mythology.

This brooch is as beautiful as the photograph, really well made. Unfortunately the box it came in is of no use for storing the item - it is huge measuring 130 mm square and 40mm deep, and it is terribly heavy, it weighs 276 grams. I expected a small practical size box in which to keep the brooch.
