Maeshowe Dragon Brooch - Large

Carved by Viking visitors a thousand years ago on the wall of Orkney's great Neolithic monument, Maeshowe. A perennial favourite, this was Ola Gorie's first ever jewellery design, launched in 1960. It marks the birth of Orkney's jewellery industry.
