Couldn't resist!

We visited Orkney this past July (and a FABULOUS visit it was!) I saw this brooch on the cover of a brochures and immediately asked our guide were he shop was. "Opposite St. Magnus Cathedral," was the reply7. I walked in the next day, looked at the brooch, spent a a minute mental translating currencies, and then bought it. The design is rich and fascinating and speaks of quality and mystery. A piece of jewerlry to treasure.

This brooch is very, very attractive, weighty, and with a high polish, and just the thing for pinning buttonless garments and for setting off a plain garment, the one enhancing the other. I'm glad I decided to have it.
