One of the country's finest craftspeople

Karen Duncan will be 'in store' launching her new collections under the Karen Duncan Jewellery label.  Karen has been making Ola Gorie for 30 years (hard to believe she is old enough, but she started straight out of school.)  But now she's launching her own collection too - and very beautiful it is.

Its only available in our shop in Kirkwall, not online, as production is tiny.  She doesn't have much time to make a lot, you see, as she's kept so busy making Ola Gorie most of the day!

Karen recently became the first jeweller in Orkney to be inducted into the prestigious Guild of Master Craftsmen - an honour even Ola can't claim!  

We're delighted to be showing Karen's own jewellery in our shop, and proud to have one of the country's finest craftspeople leading the workshop team that makes Ola Gorie.  A safe pair of hands!
