Important information about changes to the export of goods to the USA
On 29th August 2025, the US government will introduce changes to the customs obligations and processes for goods being imported into the USA.
A 10% import tariff is to be introduced on certain goods shipped from the UK, including jewellery.
In addition to this, any applicable tariffs, customs duties or import taxes will now need to be collected at the point of purchase.
What this means for our customers:
Until now, we have provided VAT exclusive prices to customers purchasing from outside of the UK, with any applicable duties or taxes being paid separately by the customer at the point of delivery.
From 1st September 2025, the amount displayed at checkout will be the fully 'landed cost', i.e. the cost of goods and shipping, and all applicable tariffs, duties and/or taxes.
There will be nothing further to pay upon delivery.
Orders placed before the 29th August 2025
It is unclear at present how orders which do not enter the US Postal System before this date will be treated.
Shipments may be rejected and returned, or a flat rate fee of $80 may be applied in addition to the 10% tariff.
We have therefore taken the decision to suspend online orders to customers in the USA until further clarification can be provided.

We're working closely with Royal Mail to implement their Postal Delivery Duty Paid (PDDP) service, which will allow us proceed with US orders, and updates on the availability of this service will be provided on this page in due course.
