Orkney is a beautiful place. Thank you to the wonderful photographers who allow us to use their images from time to time. At the moment we are showing Sigurd Towrie’s midwinter photo of the sun rising over the hills of Hoy on our home page.

Half way down the home page there's a lovely photo of grasses with Stenness Loch behind them and Hoy (again!) in the distance.  This was taken by Joanne Bourne, a senior archaeologist at the Ness of Brodgar dig, who helped us during the launch of our Ness jewellery collection this summer.  So thanks on both counts, Jo.
